Moonstone's Back Story...
In 2019 I (Alyssa) was working in Oklahoma City and I crossed paths with a Reiki Healer through my job. She gifted me my first crystal (an Amethyst cluster) and not knowing anything about them, I dove head first into the world of healing energy and vibrations. As my collection began to grow, I also started studying Tarot. Not knowing about the pandemic ahead, my favourite metaphysical shop closed and I turned to online shopping for crystals but felt disconnected trying to purchase precious gems through photos so ultimately, I put my journey on hold.
Fast forward to 2022 when I was residing in a small town in Minnesota, I felt the pull to start something of my own. One evening while out to dinner, I grabbed a pen and piece of paper and drew out my first attempted logo. Two weeks after that logo was created, Moonstone Crystal Shop was born. After a year in business, gears shifted. In May of 2023 I relocated back to my home town Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada! After almost a decade of living in the USA it was time for a change and familiar faces.
There were many risks and turns taken but you guys are what really make Moonstone. The trust I am given to hand pick items that you will cherish, fills my heart with more gratitude than anything I have ever done.
Every order is always hand picked with love and excitement. I absolutely love when you guys are vulnerable and share your stories with me, it makes all of this just that much more worth it.

What inspired me to do Moonstone Crystal Shop?
I had been new(ish) to crystals when I bought my first piece of Moonstone, it was a Green Moonstone palm stone. I purchased it at a shop and only chose it because I loved the energy it gave me, I had no idea the properties it held. After months of using it in my practice, I had gained so much clarity on what my path was supposed to look like the only thing left to do was create it. That palm stone was the first key to what my life is now.
